In ‘California Midnight Movies’ we see the cursedness of Pasha in his black cloak and struggling with Christian and Jewish symbolism to break the curse and so Pasha succeeds. His first love the ‘vous Caucasian’ was “out of reach” and now its no longer “out of reach.”
